Product launch information of resin type water disinfection reactors

Stanley Electric Co., Ltd. (Meguro-ku, Tokyo, Japan; President and Representative Director: Yasuaki Kaizumi) announced today the new product launch of "UV-C LED Reactor ULR24A (AℓNUV_Aqua)" (hereafter referred to as "this product") equipped with our own 265nm LED light source.
We have achieved high disinfection performance and high durability through our in-house development and integrated production from UV-C LED to finished products, using optical technology cultivated as an automotive headlamp manufacturer and device performance that meets automotive quality requirements. Furthermore, the light source of this product is mercury-free in accordance with the Minamata Convention and environmental impact.
■Product overview
1. Realize equivalent disinfection performance (RED*) with 1/10 the UV output of conventional lamps (Cold cathode lamp).
Equipped 50mW UV-C LED with high disinfection effect wavelength of 265nm.
*RED=Reduction Equivalent UV Dose
2. Capable of providing a sufficient treatment volume (10mJ/㎠ at 6L/min) by taking advantage of optical and structural design technologies.
3. The "internal water-cooling structure" utilizing the resin housing realizes weight reduction by eliminating heat sink.
-Lightweight (23% reduction in weight) and compact size (52% reduction in volume) compared to reactor using conventional lamp (Cold cathode lamp).
-Product size: φ62 mm x L186 mm

With the new product to be launched this time, the product lineup of water disinfection products using UV-C LED for range of up to 10L/min are now complete. We will continue to develop a variety of disinfection products, including larger flow rate UV-C LED reactors.
