"AℓNUV_Aqua" is a series of water disinfection products offered by Stanley Electric. While water is essential for people's daily life and for major infrastructure, there are many bacteria and viruses existing in water, Especially Cryptosporidium, one of chlorine-resistant pathogenic organisms, can cause infectious diseases. "AℓNUV_Aqua" uses UV-C light, which is highly effective in inactivating bacteria and viruses, without the use of chlorine or other chemicals.

Advantages over UV lamps
●Contribution to reduction in environmental impact: Compared to UV-mercury lamps conventionally used for water disinfection, UV LEDs are mercury-free and have extremely low impact on the human body and the environment.
●Long lifetime: The LEDs are resistant to repeated ON/OFF lighting and have a long life, reducing the need for lamp replacement.
●Instant On & Off: Instantaneous lighting is possible, so the lights are turned on only when necessary, without warm-up time. It saves energy and reduces running costs.

Applications
We offer UV-C LED disinfection systems for running water in a wide range of applications, from consumer products such as water purifiers and humidifiers, to industrial applications in community owned water supply system and factory manufacturing processes.
Water purifiers
The disinfection device is built into the water purifier to efficiently inactivate bacteria and viruses in the water just before use, to provide safe water.

・The UV-C LEDs are resistant to repeated ON/OFF lighting with long life, reducing the need for periodic replacement or maintenance of the reactor itself.

Raw water for industrial use
In the manufacturing process of beverage products, groundwater and raw water for industrial use are first filtered to remove impurities. The water is then irradiated with UV light in a disinfection system, and the disinfected water is used as a raw material for beverage products. The disinfection device ensures the removal of bacteria/viruses, including chlorine-resistant microorganisms in the water, and prevents the growth and multiplication of microorganisms, enabling the quality of the raw water to be maintained at a consistently high level.
